Operation Lifesaver has this up on their Facebook Page. Industrial Grade Stupid at an Entirely New Level………………Blaming the GPS! What ever happened to one’s own Situational Awareness, for crying out loud! The dumb ass even said that he put on his four way flashers and said the train didn’t stop! No kidding Einstein!

A list of situations where it’s OK for a man to hit a woman

Discus amongst yourselves, in a civil manner please. I did not write this, OK? It is simply a well done piece. That is all.

The Matt Walsh Blog

Let’s begin, shall we? Here are the THREE scenarios where it might be acceptable for a man to punch a woman:

1) Never

2) Under no circumstance

3) Anytime, with the exception of every time

Oh, also never.

I don’t mean to insult your intelligence. “Never hit a woman” is an age-old axiom, and one to which most men (hopefully) subscribe. Don’t blame me for my writing this post. It’s not my fault.

Here in Baltimore, the town has been buzzing about the story of Ravens running back Ray Rice, and his “altercation” with his fiancée last week. He was arrested for assaulting her at a casino in Atlantic City; it should be noted that his fiancée was also arrested for assaulting him. We still don’t know all of the facts of the case, and the only “evidence” released to the public is a grainy video of Rice dragging a…

Travels to The Central Coast-President’s Day Weekend 2014

The Missus and I went to the Central Coast this past weekend. Affordable lodging at Vandenberg AFB. We hit Pismo Beach and Oceano Dunes. The Monarch Butterfly Grove was quite interesting. The wind was very strong on the beach though. We did walk it for quite awhile. The wind surfers were out as well as the RV and OHV crowd.

On the way home yesterday, we stopped at The Firestone Walker Brewery in Paso Robles and picked up a tasty treat!

More snow?

Faces of Dragon

It hardly EVER snows here in Alabama.  Being originally from the North this can get a little depressing at times.  I was telling everyone who would listen that this year I wanted Alabama to have an Indiana winter.  And although it’s not even close to the winters we had, we DID however get a lot of snow (for here) about a week or so ago.  My grandson had never seen snow before so we had great fun sledding down our hill, making a snow man and snow angels. He was very disappointed when it all melted away. But now the forecast is calling for some more snow tonight.  yay!  It’s not the same or the amount as at home, but I’ll take it.
Here are some pictures from the last snowfall.
