It Could Have Been: THE A-6F INTRUDER II!

I found this while wandering the inner tubes this morning. I remember this very well. I was in VA-128, the West Coast A-6 RAG when the first info came out on the proposed A-6F.

I think it would still be a good platform these days. But I’m just an old Intruder Airframer…………

    I think that Pax River still has a few EA-6s that fly around every now and again. Used to play hell with my work training sessions when one would fly over and I’d stop in the middle of whatever we were doing and watch it until it was out of sight.
    Instructors got more than a bit peeved aver a while, especially when it happened on the driving track.
